About SiteAlert

What is SiteAlert?

SiteAlert is a watchdog for your website. Every day it crawls your pages, spots changes that can quietly hurt you (a rewritten title, a lost canonical tag, a page that suddenly returns an error) and tells you the same day. It also keeps an eye on uptime, your Google rankings and your analytics tracking.

Who is SiteAlert for?

Anyone responsible for a website's performance in Google: in-house SEO and marketing teams, agencies managing client sites, and site owners who can't afford silent SEO problems. You don't need to be a developer to use it.

What problem does it solve?

Most SEO damage is silent. Someone ships a change, a plugin updates, a migration goes slightly wrong, and a page quietly drops out of Google. You often only find out weeks later when traffic is already down. SiteAlert catches the change the day it happens, so you fix it before it costs you.

Do I need to be technical to use it?

No. Setup is a few clicks: add your site, optionally connect Google Search Console, and you're done. The alerts are written in plain language, with the before and after laid out clearly.

How is SiteAlert different from Google Search Console?

Search Console tells you that something happened to your rankings, often days later, but not why. SiteAlert tracks the actual changes on your pages, so when a ranking drops, you can see the content change that likely caused it. They work best together, which is why we connect to Search Console.

How is it different from a normal uptime monitor?

Uptime tools tell you when a page is down. SiteAlert does that too, but it also watches the content and SEO signals on pages that are perfectly "up", which is where most SEO problems actually hide.

Trying it out

Can I try SiteAlert before paying?

Yes. You can start with a free trial so you can see real changes on your own site before deciding. Head to the pricing page or get in touch to get started.

Is SiteAlert available right now?

We're rolling out access gradually. If you've been invited by a teammate, just open your invite link. If not, reach out and we'll get you set up.

Can I get a demo?

Absolutely. Contact us and we'll walk you through it on your own sites.

How long does setup take?

A few minutes. Add a site, point us at your sitemap, and optionally connect Search Console. See Setting up your account for the full walkthrough.

When will I see my first results?

The first crawl builds a baseline, so there's nothing to compare against yet. From the next daily crawl on, every change is detected and the important ones reach you, usually well before your morning starts.

Does it fit my site?

Does SiteAlert work with any website or CMS?

Yes. Because we crawl your site from the outside, like a search engine does, it doesn't matter whether you're on WordPress, Shopify, a headless setup or a custom build. There's nothing to install.

Does it work for non-English websites?

Yes. SiteAlert watches the structure and signals of your pages regardless of language, and the app itself is available in English and Dutch.

How many sites can I monitor?

As many as you like. Start with one and add more whenever you're ready. See Adding a site.

I run an agency. Can I manage several clients?

Yes. You can run separate companies (one per client) and switch between them, each with its own sites, team and alerts. See Team & roles.
