Uptime monitoring

Uptime monitoring keeps an eye on your most important pages and tells you the moment one goes down. No need for a separate tool, it lives right next to your change tracking.

Adding a monitor

Open Uptime

Click Uptime in the left menu, then Add monitor.

Pick a page

Choose the site and the exact URL you want to keep an eye on.

Set how often we check

Choose a check interval, anywhere from every minute to every 30 minutes. More frequent checks spot problems faster.

Save

That's it. We start pinging the page on your schedule right away.

What you'll see

Your monitors list shows, for each page:

  • Its current status and when it was last checked
  • Uptime percentage over the last 24 hours and 7 days
  • A response-time trend so you can spot a site getting slow

Click a monitor to dig into its full history: every check, its status code, and how long it took to respond.

When something goes down

If a page returns an error or times out, SiteAlert creates an alert that lands in your Notifications inbox, alongside your content changes. So a site going offline reaches you the same way everything else does.

Monitor the pages that cost you money when they're down, your homepage, checkout, key landing pages, rather than every URL. A focused set of monitors is easier to act on.
