Notifications inbox

Your Notifications inbox is where the changes worth your attention land. While the changes timeline shows everything, the inbox only surfaces what's important, so you can open it, deal with what's there, and move on.

How a notification looks

Each notification shows you:

  • A severity badge so you know how urgent it is at a glance
  • The page affected
  • A short description of what changed
  • Buttons to acknowledge or resolve it

Click one to expand the full before-and-after, the same detailed diff you'd see in the timeline.

Working through your inbox

Two actions keep things tidy:

Acknowledge

Means "I've seen this." Use it for changes you've noted but don't need to act on yet. It moves out of your open list without disappearing.

Resolve

Means "this is handled." Use it once you've dealt with the change, or once you've confirmed it was fine.

Finding the right notifications

Filter the inbox by:

  • Status — Open, Acknowledged, Resolved, or All
  • Severity — focus on the critical and high items first
  • Site — one website at a time
  • Page — search for a specific URL

The counters at the top show how many items sit in each status for your current filters, so you always know how much is left to triage.

What lands here versus the timeline

Not every change becomes a notification. By default only the more serious changes (the higher severities) get promoted to your inbox. Everything else stays in the timeline for when you want to browse.

You decide where the line sits and how you're told, by email, how often, and per severity. That's all in Notification preferences.

Getting notifications about something that doesn't matter to you? Open it and mark it as noise, or adjust your sensitivity in the site's settings. The inbox gets quieter and more useful the more you tune it.
